Why I Oppose The Ritter Gas Tax

Editor:

Open Letter To Colorado Citizens

I thought you might be interested in an article in today’s (May 15, 2008) Rocky Mountain News regarding my very strong concerns over the severance tax increase that is proposed in Colorado and endorsed by Governor Bill Ritter.

The article is titled “Ritter tax hike will hurt poor.”

I’m sending this letter today to more than 235,000 Coloradans because I am gravely concerned over the terrible impact this proposed “Gas Tax Increase” will have on citizens and families across the state — and on low-income families in particular.

Tax increases like this push up the price of gasoline, home heating fuel and groceries. They make it harder for many families to make ends meet.

Politicians want us to support higher taxes on energy producers. But those taxes always get passed on to us — the average consumer. Wedon’t need prices to go any higher.

If you agree, join me in opposing this tax increase by going to Colorado Consumers for Affordable Energy and take action via their website against this plan. You can do that in less than 60 seconds by going here: www.coloradoconsumers.org

Thank you in advance for standing up against higher energy prices.

Global Financial System Will Hinder Black-Brown Union

Editor:

Just a few observations concerning “Black vs. Brown: There’s Nothing Minor About Either Minority” by Ronald E. Childs.

First of all, I feel it rather presumptuous to assume that because Latinos appear to be prospering today (“fortunes are looking up for Latinos in the United States”). Economic indicators don’t bear that assumption out, nor do historical events support it. History shows us the Great Depression was caused by financiers manipulating the stock market. Manipulating finances is not a recent phenomenon. It has long been an art perfected by aristocratic families.

The modern banking system can be traced to the 12th century and the Knights Templars, who had financial centers in London and Paris. This system was devised by people who practiced the black arts to covertly take control over sovereigns and governments, to eventually gain control of the financial affairs of the entire planet.

Someone said “give me control of a currency, and I don’t care who makes the laws!” Over thousands of years, entities working through secret societies and “royal bloodlines” have gained control of the planet’s institutions, including religion, the scientific community and information (education, media, history, etc.). Foreign and domestic policy is dictated by these ancient secret societies. Illegal immigration, outsourcing of jobs, boom and bust, wars, and interest rates are a few examples of their machinations. Only the descendents of royal bloodlines are invited to join these secret societies that have no intention of sharing wealth and power with the masses they rule. There is no “your democracy!” To be quite honest, the actions of the elite throughout history seem to

suggest that their intent is to construct, brick by brick, a global communist-style dictatorship that will completely enslave mankind. History shows the big picture. The problem with history is there is no more that one version of it, and the version presented for mass consumption was compiled by those who rule. When State rep. Douglas Bruce R-Colorado Springs, referred to Mexican workers as “illiterate peasants,” he more that likely was not limiting the peasantry to Mexican illiterates. In the global hierarchy of wealth, lineage and power, the real power at the top is cleverly hidden. We don’t know if this power is human in origin or supernatural; however, the activities of those in positions of power we can identify suggest the latter. The majority at the very bottom of this pyramid of power constitute the peasantry. The elite have historically viewed the masses as peasants. The mistake Rep. Bruce made was stating this view openly. When “peasants” prosper, it suits the agenda of the elite; conversely, when peasants don’t prosper, that also suits the elite agenda of domination, control and exploitation.

So, even if Latinos and African-Americans were to join forces, they would have to contend with a global financial system thousands of years in the making. I believe it would take a generation or two before Latinos cease competing with African-Americans for the so-called American dream and seriously strive for solidarity. When people evolve to the point where they can see beyond ethnic boundaries and see their commonalities, they will be in a position to challenge the elite – not before. I’m not as optimistic as Mr. Childs that the future is rosy for any of us peasants, black, white or otherwise. Perhaps Susan Doran (McCain sticks to Condi like White on Rice) is right when she characterizes Secretary Rice as a soulless liar. Try to imagine how many other “soulless” beings who may be posing as our leaders while engaging in social engineering that may impact humanity in negative ways. Don’t expect compassion from these being, for they are devoid of conscience. Always look behind the façade at the big picture, and no, no, no... Not goddamn America, goddamn the evil plotters!
