The Owl Club of Denver was founded in 1941 as a social organization, by eight men devoted to community. Today, the club has 40 members and over the past 67 years has adopted a strong commitment to education and good citizenship for the young people of Denver.
The Owl Club standard of excellence, and support for education is the primary focus of the organization. This was reflected in the first Owl Club debutante ball held in 1951 at the Park Hill Country Club. 
On June 7, the Owl Club of Denver held the 57th Annual Debutante Presentation at the Marriott City Center Hotel where 33 outstanding young ladies from the Denver Metro area were presented on the basis of scholarship, moral character, leadership and outstanding community achievements. 
This year’s debutantes include Keila Robinson, Lyness Hill, Brittini N. Johnson, LaKeisha Monique Jefferson, Carissa Sierra Hampton, Alysha Marie Harlan, Leah Waruinge, Kamaria Gyashi Hakeem, Sierra D. Jones, Jourdan Sherman, Eboni Larai Hobley, Francine N. Kabongo, Ailena N. Hodge McDonald, Chukwufumnanya Anita Egbune, Jenna Marie Smith, Siera Christine Bruce, Maya Burchette, Deann Nicole Williams, Ashley Dennis, Elise Michelle Goodgaine, Elizabeth Chantel Adair, Sydney M. Odion-Smith, Veronica Gilbert, Cenea Maree Kemp, Taneyia Michelle Hoskins, Adrienne M. E. Bauduit, Rebekah Renee Johnson, Jordan Celeste Pettis, Erin Biyan Hamad, Kia Janai Wright-Jackson, Christine N. Chitechi, Ramia Hunter, Mayia Grimes, Victoria Turnipseed-Henderson and Assiyah Muhammad-Simmons.
After the presentation, each Debutantes took the first customarily dance of the evening and danced with their father. Several of the debutantes received cash scholarship awards to be used for educational expenses.  .
